Q. Do I need to pre-register for any of the activities?
A. No
Q. Is there a limit to the number of people that can participate in an activity at any given time?
A. For the GFP Family Fly Fishing Clinic, a maximum of ten people can participate during each session.
Q. If I am coming to camp during the SD Outdoor Expo, which gate should I enter?
A. You can enter through Gate 8, which is right off of Lincoln Ave.
Q. If I am coming to camp during the SD Outdoor Expo, where should I camp at?
A. You can camp at any of the south campgrounds except Rushmore Court which is reserved for volunteers.

Q. If I am a volunteer and have requested camping, where do I camp at?
A. Rushmore Court is reserved for volunteers. To get your name on the list, call the SD State Fair office.
Q. Do I need to bring any equipment along with me, ie BB gun, bow?
A. No, all equipment is provided. If equipment is brought along, we will ask you to keep it in your car.
Q. Is there a charge for any of the activities?
A. No, all activities are free. There is no charge for any hands-on activities.
Q. Can bikes be ridden on the fairgrounds during the Expo?
A. No, bikes are required to stay at all entrances of the fairgrounds.
Q. Where can I park at?
A. You can enter through Gate 8 and park behind the Beadle County Extension Office. You can also enter
through Gate 3.5 and park by the Media Center. Gate 7 will be a walk-in only gate for those who park
off grounds. See map.
Q. Will the Dakotaland Museum be open?
A. Yes, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. There is a $1.00 admission charge.
